What we collect, why we collect it, and how to tell us to knock it off.
Moo Mugs (moomugs.au) is an Australian business based in Queensland. We take privacy seriously because nobody likes getting spammed, including us.
What we collect
- Order details: name, email, shipping address, phone number. Needed to make and deliver your mug.
- Payment details: processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
- Email (if you sign up): only used to send occasional drops and news. Unsubscribe link in every email.
- Website analytics: anonymous usage data to see what people visit. No tracking across the internet.
Who we share it with
Only the services we actually need: Stripe (payments), our production partner (printing and shipping), our email provider, and our hosting provider. We don’t sell your data to anyone. Ever.
How to see, change, or delete your data
Email hello@moomugs.au and ask. We’ll send you a copy, update it, or delete it within a reasonable time. Under Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to do all three.
Cookies
We use cookies for shopping cart sessions, remembering you’re logged in, and basic analytics. You can clear or block them in your browser. The shop will still work.
Complaints
If you reckon we’ve mishandled your data, email us first. If we can’t sort it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
